If you don’t have a clear destination in mind, it doesn’t matter what direction you go. First we must know what you want to achieve, then we can figure out how to make it happen. While a vision will grow and change with time, removing the fog is critical to prevent getting lost along the way.

What’s included:

The time to set goals is at the start. Knowing your expectations and hopes for a project is a vital part of reaching your vision. It also helps in communicating with your experts.

Project Visioning is the first step of the Brick & Mortar Design Primer process. Complete our Objectives Questionnaire, book your first meeting, and soon you’ll have a clear report of your intentions and hopes for the project. The Project Vision will help ground you to your “why” throughout the decision-making process with:

  • establish a clear hierarchy of objectives

  • highlight main logical and emotional drivers to show why this project matters

  • identify key users types and characteristics help shape decisions around VIPs

  • discuss the functional viability of the project and your ideas

  • outline the project's "DNA", detailing room sizes, functions, qualities, and more

  • style inspiration collection for the exterior and interior spaces

  • Project Visioning is available for projects within 30 miles of Toledo, Ohio. For projects outside of the area schedule a Clarity Call to discuss options.

  • Your answers to the questionnaire are the fuel for our first meeting. I can’t read minds and for this process to be successful we both need to be able to share.

    That said, your answers don’t need to be set in stone. Give your best shot at answering the questions and we can revise/dive deeper as needed at our first meeting.

  • The Project Vision is a living document that becomes the home of your inspiration and goals for the project.

    The document will contain your answers to the most commonly necessary questions, translated to help you, teammates, and experts to “see the vision” from the start.

    However, not every detail can be recorded in this, nor should it be. As the project develops it will get more and more detailed to the point where other documents better suited will capture the information. This is a tool to assist in the early stages of project contemplation.

  • Yes, our first meeting will be digital and we have the option to complete the following two meetings remotely as well.
